Canalplay Kids is now offering an app for smartphones and tablets that allows children ages three to 10 to use Canalplay Kids content. It offers three different interfaces for different age ranges. For the youngest, the app displays large images of their favorite characters and only videos appropriate for their age, while older children can access more images, which are smaller but supported by more text and content. The app has nearly 3,600 series episodes and over 100 films, in particular Disney and Pixar classics. It is included in the Canalplay subscription and available on all smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android. This app is a space dedicated entirely to children, with specially selected programs and simplified browsing in a safe environment, offering entertainment for youngsters and peace of mind for their parents.

Increasing the collection of used mobile phones

Since 2003, SFR has been collecting used mobile phones and accessories from customers. To this end, the operator has set up a three-part system. The first involves remunerating the customer. If the used phone brought in to Espace SFR outlet still has some value, it is exchanged for a purchase voucher equal to the amount of the phone’s value. The voucher is valid toward a same-day purchase of any product or accessory at the same Espace SFR. The second part involves supporting various organizations. For every phone recycled, SFR will donate €2 to such partner associations as Fondaterra, La Voix de l’Enfant and Green TIC Campus. And in the final part of this system, SFR encourages the recycling of used phones. When they are reusable, the phones collected are overhauled by partner service providers for resale in France or in countries where mobile telephony is likely to help accelerate development. The rest of the phones and accessories are recycled under environmentally-friendly conditions. SFR regularly informs its customers of this collection system in various ways: via brochures at all Espace SFR outlets in the “Responsibility” area, via its sales staff and on the SFR and Fédération Française des Télécoms sites.

GVT launched two movies that are part of its digital campaign against child sexual exploitation. Both films are available in www.gvt.com.br/contrapedofilia and make up the digital campaign by GVT in partnership with the NGO SaferNet aims to bother. The initiative to encourage the dissemination of channels such as Dial 100 and www.denuncie.org.br is announced in the year of the World Cup in Brazil. The performance of GVT facing enlarges the safer – and better – use of the internet is a constant concern. Since 2001, the company encourages digital awareness that empowers young people to identify suspicious behavior of pedophilia in social networks.
