D-Day ! Until February 9, the second edition of the cycling race created by Vivendi Sports will make vibrate Cameroon.
5 stages, 112 riders, 19 delegations from 4 continents: figures that set the tone for the Tour de l’Espoir 2019, a competition for the U23 – Under 23 Nations Cup of Nations of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
The competition will begin in Douala, with the cyclists leaving from CanalOlympia Bessengué. It will end at the the CanalOlympia Yaoundé 1 on February 9.
This year again, several Vivendi companies are fully committed to providing exceptional live sports and music shows around this competition aiming at making Africa a future land of cycling. Thus :
- The 2019 Tour de l’Espoir will be picked up and broadcast on Canal+ Group channels in France and internationally (Canal+ Sport).
- Communications in Cameroon is provided by Havas.
- For the first time, French-speaking and English-speaking artists from the Cameroon music scene will be brought together in an exclusive show: 237 United, produced by Universal Music Africa, on February 4 at CanalOlympia Bessengué (Douala) and at CanalOlympia Yaoundé 1 on February 9.
