Impairment charges were recorded on long-term investments in relation
to SFR in an amount of €5,875 million and in relation to Groupe Canal+
in an amount of €310 million (please see Major Events and Note 3, Net
Financial Income).
In 2012, the Company acquired treasury shares for an amount of
€17.8 million to hedge the grant of performance shares with an acquisition
period ending in 2013.
Vivendi also delivered 980,612 shares to beneficiaries, officers and
employees of Vivendi SA and its subsidiaries under the 2008 and 2010
plans.
